Ever wonder what would happen if Justin Bieber switched bodies with a 48-year-old political comedian? Well, viewers caught a glimpse of that scenario on Thursday when the 16-year-old teen sensation stopped by "The Daily Show" to act in a skit alongside host Jon Stewart.

Rocking Stewart's traditional suit and tie getup, Bieber, pretending to be the host, opened the late-night talk show behind the funnyman's desk during the program's introduction. But before he got the chance to dive into the evening's first topic, the set was crashed by the satirical critic, who, clad in a blue hoodie, revealed that the duo had switched bodies. "Yo, yo, yo. What's up? What's up, swag? Yo, what's up? I found the magic skull, swag. We can finally switch back to our original bodies, yo!" yelled Stewart, acting as the singer.

While Stewart was reluctant to switch back to his old body, he agreed, announcing there was one thing he had to do before making the final move. "Fine. But can I just do something one last time?" asked Bieber-as-Stewart, running his fingers through his own hair. "It's just so natural." In the end, the stars did the ol' switcheroo when they touched the skull, shaking forcefully before returning back to their original selves.

As the Biebster walked off the set, he apologized for a tattoo inking he had left on Stewart. "Did he say something about a tattoo he left on my body?" the host asked the roaring audience. "Wait, why is my ass sore? Wait a minute. What the...?" The screen then flashed to a tramp stamp tattoo on the comedian's lower back that read: "#neversaynever."

Stewart screamed out the singer's name before plugging JB's feature film debut. "Seriously though, you should go see the movie," he said. "It's actually quite good, not that I'm the target demographic, even though inside, I am a 10-year-old girl."

If Justin Bieber calls, you answer. That must be how Bieber got "Jersey Shore" stars Pauly D and the Situation onboard to help him promote his new 3-D film, "Never Say Never," out next weekend.

"It was funny!" he told MTV News on the red carpet of the film's NYC screening earlier this week. "We decided to hook up with the cast of 'Jersey Shore,' so we [also] linked up with Kim Kardashian and her sister Khloé. It was really fun."

The videos not only have the celebs jokingly promoting the film, but also show Bieber stretching his comedic muscle a bit and goofing off alongside the reality stars.

In the Pauly D promo, the "Jersey Shore" star makes this appeal to the camera: "I haven't been able to sleep. These thoughts keep running through my mind, that voice, that talent. This guy would kill it at the Shore," he says. "My hair won't even stand up anymore and I can't stop buying purple pants. I think I've got Bieber Fever. I've got to see this movie."

For the Situation's promo, he shares with the world his "Guide to Pimpin'." "How are you doing today, class? I'm here to tell about pimpin'. Justin Bieber's movie plus Valentine's Day, what does that equal to? Situation zone."

Bieber admitted at the screening that he thinks he can be funny. "I think I'm a funny kid, so I like to be funny," he smiled.

Perhaps as a testament to his love for comedy, Bieber also excitedly talked about the return of MTV's "Beavis & Butt-head." "I am [a fan]. I'm excited for the return," he said. "I like both of them. I just like the show in general."

Beyonce Inspired By Michael Jackson, Lauryn Hill For New Album

'I'm mixing every type of genre that I love,' singer says of follow-up to I Am ... Sasha Fierce.

Recently Beyoncé revealed that she wants to make her "own genre of music" for her next album. So when MTV News caught up with the singer at the New York screening of her concert special, "I Am ... World Tour," we asked her to clarify what exactly it is that she's creating in the studio.

"Well, I wouldn't say I'm inventing a new genre," she said. "I'm mixing every type of genre that I love and I'm inspired by every type of genre."

Beyoncé went on to say that people should throw any preconceived notions about the follow-up to 2008's I Am ... Sasha Fierce out the window. "I'm not in a box," she said. "It's not R&B. It's not typically pop. It's not rock. It's just everything I love all mixed together in my own little gumbo of music."

The singer says that quite a motley crew of musicians have inspired the album. "Definitely Fela Kuti, the Stylistics. How random, right?" she laughed. "So many people ... Lauryn Hill, Stevie Wonder, of course, Michael Jackson's Off the Wall ... all of those things I'm kind of mixing together."

For the album, Beyoncé has been hitting the studio with many of her usual collaborators including Ne-Yo, Sean Garrett and Jim Jonsin. And her mom, Tina Knowles, has given the tracks she's heard so far her seal of approval, saying, "Of course [I heard it]. It's amazing. It's so amazing!"
